In the past it was a given that Hotels are the number one accommodation chosen by traveler's, but these days due to the credit crunch making it difficult for people to travel, people are finding that the alternatives like Guesthouses and Hostels are a much better choice. For many budget conscious travelers to be able to visit top cities like London, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome and New York, Hostel accommodation is defiantly the best option.
