Every fund house is now internet savvy and would love to transfer your funds and dividends to your bank a/c through electronic credit, which is admittedly safe, quick and hassle-free, to say the least. To create a favorable ground for that keep your MICR/IFS codes always updated in your personal info file kept with the fund house.
If you receive redemption cheque physically, encash it at the earliest – from 1st April 2012, all MF related cheques will be valid for 3 months only after issuance.
Last but not the least, since it’s your wealth, keep a check on your investments periodically to watch it grow healthily and steadily.
